An ad based business model proposal for Opera Mini

Yesterday while using Opera Mini 4.1 rather say while getting smitten by it, I thought of a possible ad based business model for Opera Mini.
Opera Mini has a hoard of impressive features. Check http://www.operamini.com/features/
They already have a huge user base and one can guarantee sure (huge) increase in their customer base. Now how are they going to make money out of it.
As of now they are attracting the operators and handset providers to give away there products. They may be making some money out of it.
Coolest thing about opera mini is, it compresses your web page greatly (they claim it to be around 90%). That not only makes the loading of page faster on your Mini, but also reduces the data download cost user will have to pay to the operator. Moreover it’s signature is very small on the memory and it works on most of the handsets available around, even on the low-end ones.
Soon it will get the users addicted to web and their tool for sure. probably it has already got enough number people addicted to it.
Now my proposed idea for business is this: Opera uses it’s own remote servers to compress the web pages you demand before serving it to you. Yes, it is like a browser based on internal settings for proxy servers. Hence they can always fiddle with that information about pages we surf and even change the contents of page served to us. Like proxy servers we use to bypass restricted websites put some ads on the page served, Mini can also put some small ads in the page while serving it to us. If Opera were Google they may also plan to put contextual ads. Now they can go further on this and can plan out how best to include it, without scaring the user.
I am proposing this plan and will like to propose them some more things like this, because I want to use the technology they use. They need not make Mini open source, but let people make use of it. Wait for my next Blog on what I want to say about access to the technology behind Mini.
