What I wanted from Opera with regard to Mini
I always wanted to use the technology behind Opera Mini.
To develop apps or widgets and access a website of my interest with ability to make changes to them and get it in my own required form. Say I wanted to sort of create mobile mash-ups, but based on Opera Mini technology. By Opera mini technology I mean to be able to have Opera Mini as the base such that my app/widget will also be able to serve at blazing speed and with less data to be downloaded. Just the way Mini compresses the page before fetching it, my app also should be able to use such feature and compress the data before serving it on the mobile device.
My wait is finally answered someway. Opera has come up today with Opera Widgets SDK Beta. Kewl isn’t it. Wait for my next blog on it’s review. As of now check it here.
